Adult passports eligible to be mailed in (form PC7)

HOW TO RENEW AN ADULT AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT USING A PASSPORT RENEWAL APPLICATION FORM (PC7) BY MAIL/POST

You can use this form and apply by MAILING IN your application to the Embassy in Zagreb if:

  • you hold an Australian passport that was issued when you were 16 years of age or over;
  • your Australian passport was issued on or after 1 January 2006;
  • your Australian passport had, when it was issued, at least two years validity;
  • your Australian passport has your current name, date of birth, place of birth and gender and all is correct;
  • you are not seeking to amend your personal details; and
  • your passport has not been reported as lost, stolen or cancelled.

PLEASE NOTE IN CERTAIN INSTANCES YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO COME IN FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

Please use the check list below before you send your application to the Embassy.

1. Did you complete the PC7 passport application form that you either printed from the Australian Passport Office website or received from the Australian Embassy? 

 

2. Did you complete the form in black pen?

 

3. Did you check the pre-printed details on the form?

 

4. Did you include your phone number in question 1?

 

5. Did you include an email address if you use one?

 

6. Did you enter a date of travel if you plan to travel in the next two months? If you don’t have a date, you don’t have to enter one.

 

7. Did you choose the type of passport you require in question 3?

 

8. Did you enter details of your emergency contact person? It can be either someone in your country of residence or in Australia.

 

9. Did you sign in the “applicants signature” dedicated white box making sure that you signed within the box without any markings outside the box?

 

10. Has your signature changed since your last passport? If it has, please contact the Embassy so we can explain what to do.

 

11. Did you include a minimum of two passport photos? Please do not stick the photos in the form.

 

12. *Do the photos meet the photo guidelines?

 

13. Did you write in capital letters your name on the back of one photo?

 

14. Check your signature is within six months of mailing the application.

 

15. Check the form is printed in full and no parts of the form are cut short?

 

16. Have a bank card ready to make payment when you are contacted by the Embassy.

Please note that all passport applications lodged overseas will incur an additional fee (overseas surcharge). The overseas surcharge will not apply to emergency passport applications.

We accept only electronic payments or payment by bank card at the counter (Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, VPay).  We do not accept cash payment.
